The idea to start a cottage bakery came to Brook, our founder, after years of baking for friends and family. She was always the one asked to bring dessert, whether it was a birthday, holiday, or just a casual get-together. It wasn’t long before she realized that baking wasn’t just something she was good at, it was something she genuinely loved. A love that started early, in her grandmother’s kitchen in southern Mississippi. Long before recipes were ever written down, Brook learned first hand by measuring, mixing, tasting, watching, and listening. Those simple, meaningful moments became the foundation of her baking today.
